Greensboro Coliseum Complex

The Greensboro Coliseum Complex has been around since 1959 when it opened for a holiday on ice concert. Since then, the complex has become a premier sports and entertainment venue, with events ranging from hockey games to college basketball tournaments to Broadway touring productions. The Coliseum has a diverse schedule, and its technological advancements have helped it remain on the cutting edge of the entertainment industry. Star quality dressing rooms and locker rooms are available for all the guests who attend the concerts and sporting events. The Greensboro Coliseum is currently the home of the UNC Greensboro Spartans, a basketball team from UNC Greensboro. The team had previously played at Fleming Gymnasium. In addition, the Greensboro Prowlers played at the Coliseum from 1999 to 2004. In 2006 and 2007, the Greensboro Revolution played at the Coliseum before ceasing operations on January 23, 2008.

The multi-building facility is home to a diverse range of activities, including concerts, theater presentations, and sporting events. It also plays host to conventions and trade shows, and is a leading hub of activity in the community. The Greensboro Coliseum has been a mainstay of the area’s entertainment for over 20 years, and is a great place to see live concerts. A recent show by Phish, which drew a record crowd of 23,642 people, set a new attendance record for the Coliseum.

The Coliseum is located just slightly West and South of downtown,Greensboro, NC. This grand venue is a premier location for sporting and entertainment events. Its name has become synonymous with the local sports scene, and it has won numerous awards. In the past few years, the Coliseum has hosted several prestigious events, including the 2012 U.S. Masters Swimming Spring National Championship and the 2015 NCAA Women’s Division I Swimming and Diving Championship and is a regular host to the ACC basketball tournament.
